
Bushido literally means " the way of Samurai warriors," and is a
code of conduct that places a stress upon self-discipline, courage, honor, noblity,
frugality, loyalty, and self-sacrifice.
The concept of Bushido is heavily influenced by Zen Buddhism. All the Japanese
martial arts, such as Kendo, Judo, Sumo, Aikido, and Karate, are closely linked
to the spirit of Bushido.Also, the majority of Japanese people follow the bushido,
especially old aged people. But, nowadays, the young people start to forget
about the bushido as well.
